I was going to ask you how the colors were in Michigan this year. Is there a "go to" place in MI for fall colors?

The fall colors really didn't come out until recently. It was due to the warm temperatures in the early fall and lack of a hard freeze until recently. So the last two weeks we have seen most of the color and then "boom", a rapid falling of leaves.

There is no one particular picturesque spot. A lot of people like to take fall color tours to northern lower Michigan as well as in the upper peninsula, usually taking back roads near one of the many inland or Great Lakes. We have the Great Lakes Circle Tour (see link below). Many state parks and the Manistee National Forest would provide excellent photo opportunities as well. Michigan.org also lists some very popular fall color tour routes - especially near many of the urban areas.

Still pretty cool to see Air Force One! Remember many years ago during the Obama years, saw it take off from Hartford airport.

Additionally, here is a video from a coworker in Chicago for the Blue Angels flyover:

Back in 2010 / 2011 while I was working at the Chrysler Tech center in Auburn Hills - when Obama was doing his "fly around and visit the auto maker's plants" tour - when one day I went outside of the building and watched AF1 either heading to or leaving (I forget now) the Detroit Metro airport. If I recall correctly, Obama was visiting the Sterling Heights Chrysler plant (~20 mins away from the tech center) at that time.

We've missed you bro. So what's going on with Raven?

Got a hole in the radiator. It is an unknown aftermarket aluminum radiator (was in it when I bought it), it took awhile to find someone who could weld it. Got her back last week, so far so good.
