  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

Mileage on you Pontiac?

Recommended Posts

With Pontiac out of business now for a while, our cars are getting a little older. Was wondering how much mileage everyone has on their Pontiacs today?

Feel free to post pics!

As of today the G6 has 50,330 miles on it

Here's a pic at 50k:

The 5 has 66,800 miles on it now. I still remember when I bought it in 09 with 21k on it. I have to say it has gotten better with age.

The Phoenix has a little over 115,000. I don't know the exact off the top of my head. and the GP is not too far behind it, maybe 100,000

The '86 Trans Am has only 43,000 and change miles on it. I am the sole owner and they are all original miles.

The '72 LeMans has 94.000 miles on it. I purchased it in 1996 with around 68,000 on it.

The wife had 128.000 on the Aztek before it was traded in for the Traverse.

My Sunset Orange Metallic '02 Bird is finally undergoing it's much needed restoration.  FIrst order of business: replacing the OEM Wheels which are corroding with some new rims.
Kudos to "Mufflers Brakes & More" in West Palm Beach who discovered the corrosion on the inside of the old wheels - and refused to charge me for their fix!

IT is a great pleasure to be a "newbie" on this site as I am a long-time Pontiac enthusiast!
My first ownership began back in 1976 when as a High School Senior, I purchased a '64 LeMans from my neighbors.  Not a GTO by any means (flat 6, standard brakes), it still started me on my Pontiac journey- which included:
1984 T-1000,  1986 Sunbird,  1988 Firebird (V6),   1996 Grand Prix GT,  2004 GTO (my buddy Mike and I were early adopters of the Monaro/GTO and Pontiac Performance Magazine actually did a photo story on us called "Blood Brothers" as we lived several houses apart),
current ride:  2002 Firebird.  Sunset Orange Metallic.   Apparently, it was one of the last couple of hundred produced and I thoroughly enjoy it!  Although I drive a german performance sedan during the work week, I intend to keep my 'Bird for a long long long time!  I never had a car with T-tops before this one and I love opening it up and cruising alongside the beach on FL A-1-A, going to the local "Cars & Coffee" once a month.

Looking for a blower motor resistor for a 1973 Pontiac LeMans, US-built.  The car HAS air conditioning.  The blower control on the dash has FOUR settings, (lo - - hi).
The resistor I have in the car now works on the lower three settings, but gives me nothing on 'hi.'
I think maybe it needs a very specific part from JUST a 1973 LeMans WITH A/C.
      Thanks in advance,
      Gary
