of the Month

  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

I'm in. It's a fitting replacement for the G8....especially if you can get the ZL-1/ZR-1 motor in it !!!!!

...and GM is saying it is not the civilian version of the Caprice, which is police use only. The wheelbases will be different between the two with obviously some similar styling.

The Caprice PPV is basically the Holden Statesman anyway, but that means our version will be another Commodore!

I saw a G8 on base yesterday that had a CF hood and the "SS" badge in the same place these pictures have it. I wonder if he knew something or if the "SS" placement is purely coincidental. I thought he must be an idiot to put the "SS" badge on a G8 but now I'm wondering if he's got an inside scoop on GM's plans. I may have to try to find this driver or something if I see it parked on base again. So many questions...

Yeah I had seen one of those at the bridge the other day. Okay looks wise not much to write home about but okay.

It's basically the Chevy Lumina SS sold in the Middle East market. Makes sense, no need to build a new design for our Chevy variation of the Commodore when it already exists.

It's a win-win.

It's supposed to be the new VF Commodore, not the VE. Should look a little more like this:
