Joe, wanna merge this with my auto image thread? We can safely say this has become more than about the GTO in the OP.

Another fine example...

Ugghh....sorry. I have seen these 16"/17" Rally IIs up close from Wheel Vintques and I don't like them. They are not my cup of tea for sure. The proportions of argent silver (read polished aluminuim and/or chorme) vs. charcoal are wrong to me. I don't like this style at all. I love the 14s & 15s Rally IIs. I like the chrome and charcoal versions of those just fine too. I just find the proportions off and it gets under my skin.

I have a set of old Cragar S/S wheels - 2 x 14 and 2 x 15 rims I have had since I was a teenager. I would like to get them re-chromed someday and put them on. They are a classic rim for these older cars. Now that said, I have a couple of favorite modern rims. Of course, price is not the only consideration for these likes. However, they are the final judge in what I eventually put on the Lemans.

Barry's Speed Shop Super GTO Wheel (from the TV show Wrecks to Riches). I like the bead lock look here. Charcoal the middle and voila - modern Rally II

Center Line Wheels Street / Drag Wheels - classic drag nostaliga look for muscle cars

Foose Design Nitrous SE with Exposed Riviets - similar to classic Cragar look with the bead lock look

Rocket Booster Chrome Wheels - similar to Foose Nitrous minus the bead lock and perhaps a tad bit cheaper.
