Towards the end of june is when they get back from nationals they are shipping it out. It currently is on one of their project cars but at there booth they are taking it apart and swapping a LS3 in. Thats when the real fun will begin, hopefully get about 80hp to the ground and the torque will be even more amazing lol.

not sure exactly how much, I know with this upgraded turbo people have been tuned for 30 psi without a problem. Right now my more aggressive tune is set at 23psi and my less aggressive is the gmpp which is around 17-19 psi. I have dual tunes at the push of a button on my slostice.

How much boost can the Ecotec handle on stock internals?

isnt the GXP version Ecotec a bit upgraded than the non GXP?

Completely different engines for the two trims. The base uses the LE5 2.4l, the gxp uses then LNF 2.0L. The gxp not only has tons more power but also gets better gas mileage when your not romping on it.

wat

No offense, but I'm finding this a bit farfetched...30psi? You'd need to drop the compression quite a bit if this is the LN5 we're talking about here...shit, I know Cobalt SS guys with the Turbo 2.0L running at just 18psi on stock internals and making upwards of +335WHP. You don't need that much boost, ESPECIALLY on a motor that was built N/A.

Refer to above it is a different engine than the LE5. They are both part of the Gm Family II Engine. Gmpp upgrade includes upgraded senors so it can read higher boost levels than stock.

LE5 Compression is 10.4:1

LNF Compression is 9.2:1

Unique LNF features include:

a twin-scroll turbocharger

cam-driven high pressure gasoline direct injection fuel system

dual camshaft continuously variable valve timing

sodium-filled stainless steel Inconel exhaust valves

low-friction cast aluminum pistons with oil squirters

forged steel crankshaft

forged steel connecting rods

cast stainless steel exhaust manifold

Not saying I would and I don't see how it is all that farfetched really but I know some people dynoed with some pretty high Boost before. Here is a link that shows a bunch of peoples average and max Boost.
