Just got done installing my CAI setup. I purchased a AIRAID U build it kit. Love the sound of it. Opens motor up real good. Also purchased a rain guard for the filter.

Wowzers! That goes pretty far down, good job!

Any concerns about getting crap up in it?

The airaid prefilter protector says it's water repellent and is still free flowing. Stock intake setup will be going back in for the winter months.

Won't it be a pain in the ass having to swap it every winter? Or do you have a quick and easy method?

About 30 mins to swap. I don't really wanna drive in the winter but we'll see. My chevy truck gets 8mpg.

Back from the dead!! Have you had any check engine lights or anything since you installed this intake? I've settled that I don't need to add an exhaust but an intake is a must for. If this works out well than I am going to buy the air raid kit and do it up!

That looks good. I'll have to do something to that effect in the Spring since winter is coming.
