I'm deciding between two possibilities:

Stock half cleared GT tails:

Or second gen LED tails:

Both of these if purchased will be tinted, but only the top half, leaving the clear section alone. I've been wanting black/white tails for a long time to match my headlights.

I love how European they look, gives the GA a whole different feel.

Once that tax return comes in, I'll be nabbing one...or both depending on the price of the used tails.

Ummm... If you are trying to find a different car (Kia?) why are you going to continue spending mod money on the car?

Just wondering. If you're going to keep it, I'd go with the LED.

I'm going to wait until the GA is paid off, and wait for a used Optima Turbo to come my way. Cheaper than buying new, since depreciation is a bitch with new cars.

To boot...this is my tax return money I'm using. :lol2:

I vote for the top lights, but retrofitted with LEDs instead. Best of both in my opinion.

The custom GTs aren't up for sale anymore, looks like I'm going the way of the LED tails. Order will be put in on Friday.

What was the difference between these custom GTs and your current?

Sounds good, the LEDs should look good once all tinted :lol2:

Look at the pic, Jimmy...the signals are clear. ;)

And HALF tinted. :P I need some contrast, I'm tired of dominantly black tails.

That is a freaking odd and silly problem to have! I like those LED tails though.

The 1st gen tails mess with the voltage, since the low output from he LEDs messes with the cruise control's ability to turn off by hitting the brakes.
