Welcome to FP, Nick!

Aww man, these pics remind me of my HS days of being at BOCES and doing body work. I got my hands dirty on a 68 Camaro RS with a 328 and 3 speed powerglide and a 68 Barracuda notchback with a 318.

Enjoy the site, Nick...post and stick around, there's plenty to keep you entertained on our site.

Yea i primed it and blocked it twice already just finishing a cpl spots and making sure i didnt miss nothing then its into paint. my gpa does have a tri power setup but i think were puttin that on my brothers 64 grand prix. ill prolly just end up building up a 455 and throwin it in and it has a turbo 400 trans in it already so it has the good transmission

also im debating on just putting the car in sealer now and painting it when i go off to OTC for custom paint but not sure yet. paint will def be custom and flashy

im thinking two tone black and silver with heavy metallic gold flake over the black and heavy black flake over the silver. chrome rims but no bigger than 20s lo pro tires. 2.5% limo tint i found HID conversion housings alrdy lol. HID his, lows and fogs. and dash and interior pieces will be painted black and seats reupholstered black with silver accents. and im thinking of airbrushing somethin crazy on an extra hood

oh and a BIGASS " I <3 BOOBIES" banner on the back window hahaha

Looks great, plan sounds great. WELCOME! :D

I'm looking at going into auto collision when I get out of the Marine Corps. I'm thinking of going to UTI though.

Are you having fun doing what you're doing?

Collision repair is an excellent career. and in high demand because obviously people are always wrecking their cars that will never change.

But a tech school is definitely where its at i wish i wouldve taken the full ride to UTI i was offered. and from what ive read schools such as wyotech OTC and UTI have extra financial aid and help available for service members. And different school offer different special courses as well. i believe UTI has street rod and custom fabrication and im going to OTC for custom paint and they also have classic car restoration. and wyotech has something as well but i dont recall what it is

anyways collision repair is a GREAT field to get into i highly recommend it lol
