car may be in safe mode which isent good at all, that means off to the dealer you go. I hope not but if its doing stuff like that you should get it looked at asap before you break something else and it costs you more money!

well i changed out the sensor last night. and as i was doing that, i noticed something. not the sensors or the cat...the problem itself?

I think you found the issue..................

that's kinda crazy it cracked but looks like headers are in your future if that's your issue.

yea use a spray bottle mixed with dish soap, just like you would with a car tire leak. just make sure you do it with the car cold or you could crack it even more. ;)

..............

on a second note, I spy with my little eye something not plugged in. See the little grey and blue wire harness. what's that????

i was ruling out the possibility of it being the sensors so i was changing them. i disconnected that one then took off the heat shield and saw the crack.

tested. no weird sound. i sprayed it, turned on the car on and quickly checked. it was dry so i sprayed while its on and but most of it doesnt even land on it and flows towards the firewall. :picard::(

 i took it on the highway after i left the dealership. i know its no V8 (or V6 for that matter) but i felt the power it once had and heard it. i would have heard it a bit more but i had put on the stock intake.
