Nah - Kiwi - not my style. I'd have to change the hat. The nose would have to have boogers hanging out of it too.

This is what I looked at over the weekend. It is a 1975 International Harvester fire truck. It has an IH 392 engine. Hydro-boost brakes. It has under 9000 miles on it. Slight rust in the driver's side rear fender. $5000 and it's mine.

Well if you modify the back end right and put a top canopy on it you can park Lucy on the back and use it as a transport and portable garage! And if she over heats again, you have a portable water supply! 😁 See how things work out!

Oh yes !!!  that is my issue with my 64 bonni too, but thanks to a good cover from rock auto, its a outside car for now.

A big truck like that is always going to have to live outside and thats going to stuff it... your right, dont buy it, ..... ho hum...so sad poor truck was waiting for some one like you to come along and save it from the scrap heap... thats ok.... maybe some young guy will buy it and drive it for a little while and then take it out with his mates and put it in a ditch and the tow company wont get paid, they will auction it off and it will head to heaven 😢

ho hum, i guess thats life for anything thats old these days😢

Beautiful old trucks like this one all go to that big steel shed in the sky, its just natures way....😥

if i was there i would save her from here fate, whats 5 k in the big world of it all, so little for sooo much ....😢

Funny you say that. The owner and I talked about removing the fire truck back half and turning it into a roll back tow truck (which I could probably use).

I like JUSTA's argument - lawn sprinkler. Perhaps I can use the pump to flush out that damn mole in my back yard. What's a few hundred PSI?
