25th annual 1st Congregational classic car show

Recommended Posts

I've attended this show on N off for the last 20 years.  They have so much going on. Outdoor vendors from automotive to crafters,  a huge assortment  of bounce houses, slide's N kids games, pony rides.  Indoor rummage sale, bake sales, the car show and all related activities from 50-50, doorprizes, music DJ the list goes on N on.  They only offer 5 trophy's..... no classes, but this show pulls in the finest rides in the area. They can maybe fit 75- 100 cars in the show area parking lot, but they turn away cars all day long.  The spectator parking lot looks like a carshow from the overflow.  Awesome people, friends made there you sometimes only see at that show.   Today was no exception, beautiful weather in the 70's......JUSTA RIGHT!  Clouds started to roll in around 3.  Packed it in, got home and the GTO put away before the storms blew through, leaving us with no power til 8pm.   Will tickle your eyes with some more eyecandy from this long weekend.

This will stop the heartbeat!  A true SS Impala hit a deer on the way to the show.  Got the entire front clip, hood fenders....:stars:

Looks like @Guitarsextreme has some competition

The deer are much bigger up here.......BUT a roadkill record holder spreads the targets out for style points!!!!   Right GE?

The real wreck of the day was a plane crash less than a 1/4 mi from the show.  More fire/police than you can believe.  Saw it on the late news.  Missed a house by a few feet.  Both pilot N son were able to get out before it burned to the frame.

I don't think we want to start giving GE competition with the DeerSlayer! He is the forum's Roadkill King IMO.
