In my 93 Grand Prix is a 3.1L V6. I'm looking for another engine that'll fit nicely and give me a bit higher of a horsepower and high end torque result. Also thinking of other Mods I could do. Please send me any ideas you guys may have. I love to learn off of other people and their experience.

The biggest motor that GM made for the 5th gen Grand Prixes was the 3.4 L DOHC 60 degree V6 LQ1 motor. GM put the LQ1 in the following cars:

1991–1994 Chevrolet Lumina Z34 and the Euro 3.4 sedan
1991–1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
1991–1996 Pontiac Grand Prix
1995–1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34
1995–1996 Chevrolet Lumina LS

Also, optional from 1991 to 1993 was a Getrag 284 five-speed manual transaxle, which was also exclusive to the GM W platform and was available only with the LQ1.

The 1989-1990 LG5 3.1L V6 was turbocharged exclusively for the '89-90 Grand Prix Turbos.

What sort of mods were you thinking?

Β Tranny swap, maybe a turbo. Compression tuning, new rods and cylinders after a rebore, NO2 installment, new rear end. Trying to get it set to be a daily driver/weekend dragster

And probably change it to an all wheel or rear wheel drive
