I think I see what you're doing.

You're going to basically make a fender air intake with this adaptor connected to the car at the hole where the resonator is and then run a 90 to the filter and what kind of pipe to the MAF?

from elbow to MAF? I would use the flex tubing they sell at pepboys or something like that to connect since you can bend it what ever way you need to. I made a CAI in my Durango with 3" PVC and rubber elbows before. Painted PVC black and it looked stock.

flex tubing is restrictive. i need something more streight line and smooth. after i connect the MAF and the vacum line i will take it to a place called Exhaust Works. I'll see if these guys can bend an 3" exhaust tube from point A - B. :(
