The second leg of the SE Michigan Tri-Power Car Shows is nearly here.

The Motor City POCI Chapter is hosting their 5th Annual Pontiac Round-Up at Baker's of Milford, on Saturday, July 14, 2018. from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Registration is $20 at the gate.

Ya know I'm there with JustaG6 as well.  Had to install a new blower motor in the G6, so somebody has AIR.  Is Jim on FP?  IndymanJoe is a definite maybe.

Signs courtesy of the Sawruk family. These are a handful of replicas of over 50 signs located around the city of Pontiac, Michigan tracing it's automotive heritage.

 

A '59 GMC long bed pick-up that is still on the farm. Dinner appears to be in the front seat.

The entire Lemans, Tempest, Custom S, T-37 class - all five of us. I took 2nd place. Lucy's fraternal twin took first.

 

JimLarson's Grand Prix

 

It was very hot and muggy and it eventually rained. The heat was too much for one gentleman. Paramedics were called in to assist him. This was close to JUSTAG6's parking spot too. He was later alright and never transported to the hospital.

 

This 1969 Trans Am was purchased at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in 2016. No idea what it sold for.....

 

When was the last time you saw a 1966 Starchief Executive four door?

John and Marge Sawruk's 1984 Turbo J2000

My first Pontiac was a '73 Lemans Sport Coupe - very similar to this '73 GTO.

 

I had never seen a rear windshield wiper on anything this old - especially a Pontiac Torpedo. This car has only 17k original miles on it and the interior is wrapped in plastic. Note the slight crack on the thermostat housing.

Thanks stratman.I know how you feel. I am currently president of the GMC Truck Chapter of POCI and I just traded in Black Beauty (my 2008 Envoy Denali) for a '18 Chevy Colorado. I just wrote my latest president's column and apologized to the membership for it. Still I have a passion for trucks and Pontiacs, and that's what counts.

More nice pictures, JUSTA. I really like the '74 ('75?) Grand Am. I haven't seen a first gen GA in I don't know how long, especially one this nice! Also like the "66 Bonneville wagon.

It's a '74 Grand Am. A fellow WIdetracker has a '73 Grand Am with a 400 4-speed. It's setting in his shop, disassembled, waiting for him to restore it.

I think the Bonneville wagon was the only wagon at the show too.
