Huevos Gigantes needed to start this project and its been in the back of my mind for quite some time. I've wanted to do some type of exterior mod like add an aftermarket hood to the Corvette but in most cases that party starts around $1,200 - $1,500 just to get in the door so I decided to add my own ventilation to the hood this weekend so here's the beginning. Enjoy.

I'll have more pics up as the mounting of this heat extractor continues.

Nice work, Rocket! 👍

I hear you about the cost of hoods... I want to get an L88 hood for my C3, but haven't pulled the trigger (yet, lol!).

Love it 360! Gona be killer!

Yes it will make a marked improvement in engine performance due to lower temps! The F.1 hood on the Indian diverts fresh air from the front scoops on to the engine, while a rear set extract hot air out the back. Drops engine temps anywhere from 15 to 30 degrees and inlet plenum air temp as much as 40 degrees depending on ambient air temps.

360 Excellent work my man! I'm with JUSTA on this one....that took some serious gonads.

To quote Red Green, "Remember, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together." And if that don't work....the handyman's secret weapon is, of course, duct tape!
