Dunno. It's possible someone else took a call from him and hasn't gotten around to telling me about it. Either way, I think next weekend I'm gonna finish doing the brakes on it just so I can start it and move it around. I still haven't had the chance to run any tests on that transmission I rebuilt and I really want proof I'm as good as I think I am.

:pop_corn:

Well for your sake, I hope you can sell it. I am sure you can use the cash.

That's what the guy is offering you for the Parisienne? 😲

Charge him another $1400 for the tires and wheels then.

I'd start at $700, but go to $400 if he seemed to want to build it instead of parting or demo.  It's not up for sale, no sign on it. Just people who see it and ask for it.

It's probably because you don't see the square body Parisienes and Caprices much anymore. They know its old and hopefully for sale - cheap.

If I could afford to drag race on a higher level that would be my pit car.

It's $2.49/gallon here in South Carolina this week. Still $60+ a fill-up. Anything else wrong with your Sierra?

A bit of body rust ... the usual cab corners and rear wheels. Shocks are due. Fuel pump is noisy. Nothing really. Just damn expensive to run. Too expensive if the Saudis decide to spank Justin as they should.

And on today's episode of Prof's an idiot .... what can you tell me about the 3800 1994 Pontiac DustBuster? Might be going to look at one for $850.  Problems already known ... since it's 25 years old, it has to have an evaluation by a professional  (costing about $125) so that the gov't can determine how much sales tax to charge me before they'll allow it to be plated. Tax on $850 .... $85 . And before you ask ... yes, the fuckers charge sales tax on the evaluation too.

Naw .. changed jobs and now I'm sitting right next to the boss so I've had to curtail a lot of  my internet time.
