Yup. I'm guessing the hub seal failed, leaked all the oil out, hub got really hot (usually it'll catch fire but it didn't for me) and melted the hub causing the drum + tires to separate and come off.

The weird thing is, is that I felt nothing, saw nothing.

And of course, my company is trying to blame me for it. It's not my fault the trailer is a 1993 POS. This trailer has more issues than a bi-polar chick off her meds.

Now I get to sit in Tomah-f*ckin'-Wisconsin for 2-3 days, unpaid. I'm gonna call the dude in Memphis and see if I can't find out if I can get hired on down there. I'd load up a rental and head for home (or have someone drive out to get me) and move to Memphis right now if I could.
