This kit was installed in Florida in 1997 where it spent two years there, It was put up for sale in 1999 at Bob's classics Inc in Largo Florida and was purchased by the previous owner for $18,900 and shipped to Michigan where it was very rarely driven. I purchased the car in 2014 and due to unfortunate circumstances am not able to restore it like I originally planned on doing and am now putting it up for sale.

The kit itself only has 1500 miles on it as the odometer was set back to 0 when the kit was installed, the last recorded milage on the car in 1997 was 100k and being that the kit was installed in 1997 I would assume the car has less than 110k miles.

The previous owner stated that when the kit was put on the engine was rebuilt and modified but didn't remember what was done to it.

The car runs and drives but could use a tune up, paint, some minor body work, some small interior work, tires, and a few other miscellaneous things.

The car has a clean title and clean carfax.

This is a great restoration project, Nicely restored cars go for around $25k

I am asking $6,000 obo

I also have the drivetrain out of a real 83 Ferrari Mondial QV that I was planning on rebuilding and swapping into the F40 that can be purchased at an additional cost.

Located in Ortonville Mi 48462

So many bells and whistles going off all at once .. not the least of which is the confession of tampering with the odo.

OMG - this guy lives in Ortonville too. This is literally about 12 miles from my house!!!!

I wonder if this is the same guy that has the Fiero with the hood scoop  for sale too?
