Tuesday, the Widetrackers took part in the Hadley Village 4th of July Parade. The notallthere were there with Envy, the missus' Fiero. We each had 40 pounds of candy to chuck at the kiddies that line the short parade route. Here are some pictures of the cars as we were waiting in the staging area.

Hand built uber-sized Radio Flyer wagon.

Bob Thompson's convertible and Lucy. Bob's GTO was the cover car for the Woodward Dream Cruise in 2009.

'64 Tempest with the Indy I-4 (half a V8) in it.

Lucy's fraternal twin in the club, a '71 Lemans Sport Convertible with the original 350 2-barrel in it.

1928 Pontiac roadster

I love the fishing reel and the Goldfish as bait with this '71 Cuda.

We handed out seven 5 lb bags of Tootsie Rolls from Sam's Club, plus there is one pound left of another 5 lb multi-pack of Tootsie Roll treats. I think we did well, or rather the kids did well.

The wife wanted the top up until it was closer to the start of the parade. She didn't want the seats to fry in the hot sun and cause her back to sweat against the vinyl seats. Rest assured that after all that trouble of fixing the top, the top was down for the parade!

Turns out she sweated anyway, both on her back and with our youngest nephew on her lap!
