  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

Very cool LeMans Sport Convertible 360. Thanks for sharing the story on this one.

The 455 HO and 4 speed combo will definitely crank up the car's value, I am not certain it is worth $125-150k because at the end of the day it is still not a GTO, in spite of its rarity. Lemans don't garner the respect  in price in the collector car market against the GTO. There were less than 3000 total convertibles made in 1972 and they were the last ones for the A body cars. An H.O. GTO is more likely to get more money...sadly.

I hope I am wrong. The highest paid Lemans I've seen sell at auction is Stan Ancoler's restored '63 SD Lemans - which was 1 of 14 purpose built race cars, it sold at over $325k. At that price, it didn't pay for its restoration.

Low production number cars are Way cool like Lemans 455 4 speed cars.. But when At a show where there a bunch of GTOs it Will hardly get a look..Same thing with 1LE firebrds most so called car people even when they do look..Really have know idea what is they're looking at..They usually go right for the loaded up Ram Air TAs..Firehawks and SLP cars and when they do actually do talk to me..It's always I know three  people who have one just like it..See them all the time..Which I know is complete B.S...I Am always on the lookout..I travel all over the country....Have never seen another one in person..Probably never will..Guess what I'm trying to say is Oddball and rare means Unpopular..Which in the car world..Translates to less $$$ in the end unless the right person At the right time wants it.. Don't get me wrong.. Personally I really dig oddball rare cars like 455 4 speed Lemans better than a Goat anyday...
