General Motors could exit Europe with $1 billion Opel sale to Peugeot

This would be huge if GM decides to exit the European market entirely! While Vauxhall is still around, most models are re-badged/re-engineered Opels with left-hand drive. Holden is all but gone as well. Perhaps GM is considering becoming a North American and Asia only car company? South and Central American operations are still money losers too.

Absolutely crazy! I like a lot of what Opel/Vauxhaul does. Though come to think of it a lot of their cars are just rebadges.

In some respects, I can't blame GM. I mean how many decades have they been losing money in Europe? At some point, you have to fish or cut bait.

Well, cut bait or stop selling automobile shaped garbage and get back to selling quality vehicles.
