  1. I finally found the a clutch plate for my 1950 Chieftain, w/ new facings. The facings are smooth instead of grooved like the old one. Read where it’s to prevent sticking since it’s a dry clutch. Question is, can I drill holes in disc? Read where holes were even better than grooves for this. Or just leave smooth? Can’t find the original grooved anywhere as this 10” 1 1/8” shaft is hard to find. Thx Oh yeah, I flipped the gear ring on the flywheel as the flywheel was impossible to find in a 14 1/8 o.d., 140 tooth, 6 bolt, 10” clutch.
  2. Thx to all for the tips. I’ll check out some/all.
  3. Thx for reply, 10 x 6 3/4 x 1/8 I’m not seeing anywhere online.
  4. Hello, I’ve searched internet forever & have GM part numbers but can’t find correct clutch disc or clutch disc facings for my 1950 L8 Chieftain, 10” O.D. heavy duty, manual synchromesh 3 speed. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
