Good read fellas 👍🏻 learned is what it’s all about and I feel like I am in very good company here. Apart from knowing how to do a basic service I am not mechanically minded. I can provide progress updates on MYWILD1 & a big yes to posting more videos 🎥🎬.

This head with the blowout between the two cylinders can be fixed BUT finding someone with the skills that’s prepared to do the job here in Western Australian has been fruitless! They have ether retired or not interested to help! That’s why I tried my luck buying this secondhand motor I previously posted.

Here is the Part 1 of 2 video collecting the 401 Donor motor for parts to fix my 1969 GP 455 stroker…. This is an Unlisted video, I posted it just for this forum 👍🏻 “PONTIAC Donor Motor & other American Muscle Cars”. For the HD version - Click on the “YOUTUBE” title (bottom right) to take you to the video… 👍🏻

Cheers Frosty mate 👍🏻 It’s great to find this community of fellow Pontiac madmen. I am looking forward to meeting exploring and learning here on this awesome website. Cheers from the great land down under.

For now (with a restricted budget) I’ll just be getting the best of the two heads overhauled and fitted to the current motor in my car. That’s my end goal just to get the car running all ticketyboo 👍🏻 And use the car in a couple of short film ideas I have planned. Plus with our summer just around the corner I’m keen to just go for a cruise…. Ooooo Yeah!

Cool, it took me over 12 months T find this old motor & the owner had no history on it. A complete gamble for $1000 (AUD). Still I would have paid the $1K just for the head if it came down to it. What the video didn’t show was the crack in the block (I ain’t no mechanic) so I missed this crack crap! it would have been nice to score a few more useable or resaleable parts.

Just worked out how to drive this reply to comments “Quote” thing… My good wife has some cousins in Cairns who have a earthmoving business up in your neck of the tropics. Thanks for your reply and the parts leads 👍🏻 A 65 GP is another pimp ride 😎 Thanks JUSTA6 mate 👍🏻 you have a cool emoji here☝🏻, any chance of hooking me up with a link to this Gif? I’d like to use it when I post my Pontiac on my other social sites (if that’s okay)👌🏻

G’day Last Indian mate 👍🏻, (I’m just learning how to navigate this cool website). yeah, with a little TLC and mechanical wizardry I reckon we should be able to bring one of the heads back to life. I only need the one to replace the “too far gone head” and if I’m lucky I’ll have a couple more internals from the 401 parts motor to sell on and try to recoup a few bucks back in the kitty. Cheers Ringo64 👍🏻
