  1. Hey...thanks for the info. I'm going to contact these guys right now.
  2. Thanks very much for the info. I was hoping for reproductions, just for the time factor. It looks like I'll be removing mine and taking them to get re chromed...probably months to do it.
  3. Is it impossible to find replacement bumpers for a '64 GTO? I can find just about any others in reproductions, but no luck on the '64.
  4. Nice!...great looking car!
  5. Everyone's taste is different. In my mind, a '64 just doesn't look right without the Cragar SS's.
  6. Your '66 looks exactly like the one I had in 1972...right down to the Cragars. I bought mine for $650.00 off a car lot, but found there was a large cloud of blue smoke following it everywhere. I installed a junk yard 400 and drove it for a while, then traded for some piece of crap Chevy van. We all make mistakes.
  7. I'm waiting in Summit Racing parking lot right now waiting for Cragar SS wheels and new tires. I'll go over it top to bottom, just make a few changes. It really needs nothing. Thanks for the compliment. I've wanted one of these forever.
  8. I finally trailered the '64 GTO to my shop. I'm picking up new Cragar SS wheels today. Please tell me what you think. The car is excellent underneath. The paint job is not very good, and the bumpers need to be replaced. Thanks.
  9. Will post pics as soon as I get it to my shop...thanks.
  10. I just got a deal on a '64 GTO...a car I've always wanted. It's very straight and original with the exception of wheels, seats and new paint. The only other Pontiac I've owned was a '62 Tempest gasser several years ago. I'm a project guy, who never leaves anything alone. I've owned C5 Corvettes, Chevy II's, Vegas, mostly drag racing. The new car will Not be cut up with a tube chassis, Ford 9", etc. But...I always need to go fast, so I don't even have the car in my possession yet, and am thinking 421. I joined the forum to communicate with knowledgeable Pontiac people, and as a source for information or possibly parts. Oh...just remembered...I did buy a new Solstice GXP in 2008. I never should have sold it.
