  1. Thanks everybody, So to my knowledge based on documents and vin research the car rolled off the factory floor in Kansas City, its a Tempest Custom 2 door Sport Coupe that came originally in Barrier Blue. It was a 326HO car with a 2 speed auto trans. Unfortunately, it no longer has the factory mil. It currently has a 1968 Large Journal Crank 327 SBC and new 350 trans. Brand new Fontaine Blue Factory Interior, newer paint, brand new Bumpers front and rear, and everything works in the car including the clock. Plans for the car are to first convert it to power brakes and power steering. I would like to get the Chevy mil out of it and put a 326 back in it or potentially a later gen LS from a Firebird or G8 just for reliability but overall she's really clean, cruises great at speeds above 70 and gets looks wherever she pulls up. I'm really happy with the car!
  2. Hello, My name is Whit and I found this forum on Instagram. I'm a 40 yr old father of 2 and I'm the new owner of a 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom. I've grown up around muscle cars my whole life helping my dad wrench on Ford's and Pontiacs. I'm here to learn more about my car, gain some tech tip knowledge and make some friends.
