I bought our 68 Firebird with Fi tech 400 already installed and it's not been perfect but always started and performed well. I want dependability as much as performance but today at a stoplight the car just died, wife and I pushed it off the road and when I took the breather off the left front of the throttle body was completely full of gas. I called a roll back and had it brought home. The research I've done shows that the injectors have issues with sticking open and usually once you replace one the others will soon follow. I'm not cutting a product but informing you all that the upgrades sometime add issues that you normally wouldn't have. I'm a 55 year old that has owned and operated a shop for over 30 years and throttle body wasn't great when it came out and the aftermarket isn't much better if any. Going back to the Q-jet ASAP.
