Well I'm thinking of trading my old ps3 for 2 12 rockford fosgate punch3. To be honest i want to keep the front stock, i don't want to buy a new deck really. Now i was wondering if anybody else has done this. I *think* i can somehow use a line converter to the amp. If so what kind do i need? Also i will need to find a good amp, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, money is an issue so it will need to be a budget amp that will get the job done. Any help would be great!

The car is paid off, but i'll be heading to a college for 4 years in the fall where i will not be using the car. So i really don't want it to be sitting around for 4 years losing value. Our family has enough vehicles where i will be able to get around without it. Not sure what i should do.

Looking on craigslist around my area i see grand ams like mine going for around 5 grand o.O

Well some basic info, its an 03 grand at GT sedan. Has 124,xxx miles. Does have check engine light but its just an 02 sensor i believe, either way it doesn't effect the car at all. The inside is extremely clean. It has the am/fm cassete monsoon system with 2 brand new rear speakers. I have 5% window tint on the back 3 windows and i think its 15% on the front sides. 2 brand new tires 2 with about 40% tread left. Chrome on 2 of the rims are starting to flake off a little. To be honest about half of that went over my head. I don't know a whole lot about cars that was more of my dad and older brother's thing. If i do plan on buying things i'll make sure to ask you. And not sure i want to put any money into it if i'm going to be selling this summer/fall. And thanks for all the welcomes! Nice to see such an active board

Thanks, yea i found some touch up paint that i put on some of the other scratches. Still looks horrible, maybe i'm putting it on wrong or something. Only thing that bugs me about this site so far is that i cant post my images in tags straight from imageshack

Hello everybody, I'm Ryan. I'm a new pontiac owner, bought my car about 2 years ago. First car owned (just turned 18), its a 03 Grand am GT. Didn't look the best when we bought it but i've cleaned it up. Had some small scratches on the back. Bought with roughly 116,000 miles for $3700. Had a couple engine problems but i believe it is all sorted out and i can start spending money on other things This past summer i had window tint put on, I really wish it was legal to put the dark on the front side windows too but o well. Still trying to decide whether or not to buy some black or black/chrome rims for my car.
