Honestly, I thought the Aztek was far ahead of its time. I liked them. And the rear tent attachment, that was freakin cool. I think its funny how people gave it crap, but if you look now, so many car companies took that idea and made it a little better. Like I said, ahead of its time. I would still buy one. And welcome bro!!!

SC Tensioner Pulley Assembly
gandhi_2006 replied to gandhi_2006's topic in Pontiac General Discussion/Questions
while i hope not, im only around 150k miles on an 04. im the second owner, and never really truly beat on her. i never roast the tires, 2 reasons, trannys in these cars suck, i have a Stage 1 TEP in mine. and 2 tires are spendy. i honestly wouldnt think it would be that, but on a higher mileage car i could see it. -

SC Tensioner Pulley Assembly
gandhi_2006 replied to gandhi_2006's topic in Pontiac General Discussion/Questions
Hey Frosty, long time no chat lol. I usually run seafoam about once every three months. So im thinking that fuel system is ok. vacuum should be good, all of the hard plastic GM tubing has been replaced with a higher quality tubing. I dont have a CAT anymore so thats out lol. Plugs and wires were just replaced when this started. didnt fix it. air filter is good to go. So i guess fuel pump will be tested. But first im gonna take off the SC belt and see if it still does it. -
SC Tensioner Pulley Assembly
gandhi_2006 replied to gandhi_2006's topic in Pontiac General Discussion/Questions
It runs great other than that. Starts and idles like a kitten. No overheating. Throttle response is perfect. I can have boost, just nothing over half throttle, then she will sputter. I will take the SC belt off and try it. -

I have an aftermarket boost gauge. When i slowly apply boost, not flooring it, the car will stutter, and the boost gauge will bounce. I have no codes, no misfires, and all fluids are perfect. I am running premium 91+ octane. -
Ok, so my SC belt slips at half or more throttle. I just replaced the belt, of course Gator, and it still does it. I was kind of thinking maybe it is the tensioner pulley assembly. What are your thoughts? also nothing else is wrong.

hello evrybody -
well at least its going to someone who will take care of it, great find!
-
that is freaking beautiful, damn!!! Nice work.
-
only way I would buy it is if it was a hard top hemi cuda with the original plum crazy purple. Minor design changes would help too.
-
yes and I don't remember them making a cuda vert. No matter what I think its a joke. Good idea but horrible design. Looks to much like the challenger.
-
Here is the link so you guys can read it. http://gearheads.org/dodge-shakes-up-charger-durango-dakota-and-cuda/

ok not to change the subject but did any of you guys see the article about the new dodge cars coming. The Dodge 'Cuda is a joke. A disgrace to the Cuda name!
-
nice I do admire slp's work. Also why go turbo when an eaton sc fits directly on the block?
-
how many miles on OD, could be fuel pump. Mine did that crap too!?
-
ok so I'm not sure what the difference is between the GTX and the GTP? Very good lookin gp, I really like what you have done.
-
yeah but if I can't mod or repair cars I would spend all my time building or fixing pc's lol. Nothing like making something work properly.

Has anyone here ever converted a car with a pedal e-break to a stick e-break? I would like to see how much of a pain it will be if anyone has. I would use as much of the factory components as possible. I also don't understand why the later gtps never had them?

Car and Driver: 2017 Buick LaCrosse – First Drive Review
gandhi_2006 replied to FeedBot's topic in Auto News
I love the Buick luxury and styling. I had a late 80's park ave, my first car, loved it and still miss it sometimes. Buick is doing a great job imo. I just wished they spent more time on the new regals. -
