Hello, my moniker is Bonneville 67. I'm 66 yrs young, I build scale model cars, (since I was knee-high to a Cragar mag, and still not much taller.).Pontiacs are my favorite car I've owned a '65 & '67 Bonnevilles and a '65 GTO. By far the most exciting and fun to drive.
Here are a few of my Pontiac models I have built.
The '65 Bonneville convertible is a model of one I owned. It was converted from a hardtop, I also converted it to a bench seat like my 1/1 was.
Conversion from Revell 1966 Pontiac GTO
1966 Pontiac Tempest
This build is of my older brothers old Tempest. I always thought that it was cool , it wasn’t a high power 389 , or even a 326 car . It was a OHC 6 Sprint, Backed by a Hurst shifted 3 speed on the floor with a bench seat. There was no bells or whistles other than power steering, ( that I can recall). It was gold, with a gold interior.
For this project I am using the Revell 1966 GTO and degrading it down to the Tempest level. I think the hardest part of this build was the bench seat.
