  1. anyone seen the durocco? durocco.com about the dragging the other motor down thing... with two automatics it really wouldnt be a problem. if one moto anyone seen the durocco? durocco.com about the dragging the other motor down thing... with two automatics it really wouldnt be a problem. if one motor had a tad more power, it would simply take more of the effort needed to push the car off the other engine. dual engine manual trans would probably need to be matched a little closer, but it still would only have a problem with one out-revving (and then spinning the tires) the other at max throttle and high rpm.
  2. hahaha innit great? i actually drove it like this for a good while while.... just now got around to tearing it down. i thought it was the rings but i was obviously wrong

1000 dollars to me is a lot, but im just saying it could have been more selling a car.. im a cheap ass. my crx was 400 dollars originally, so dont think im saying its not a big hit didnt you see my thread about gettin ripped for 90 bucks? im still chasing that bastard...
  4. did you even try to get the hose? or just the camera? wow... thats all i can say... oh and bad fuel line yes... bad ground does not burn your car to the ground...
  5. ok ive had two of those four door hondas... first one crappy stock and second was fully modded and was a great car... BUT NEVER WOULD I DO THAT UGLY SHIT TO IT! i want a grappling hook in my car so i can grab those and yank them off! i bet its still got the stock motor! altho i will admit, that at 110 in a crosswind a smaller wing would have been nice... the back end would pick up and push...
  6. so you take it for a power drive yet? lose any? if not, and your coolant stays good, i wouldnt worry about the compression test oh and you're welcome for the advice. nice to be recognized for your knowledge

damn dude that sucks bad! at least it was only 1000! would have sucked if it were more. you should contact the secret service directly and inform them, since they are who actually handles counterfeit money. granted it might not do anything, but doing everything you can never hurts. also, if he hasnt registered the car, you could go get a duplicate title... then put a lien or something on it.
  9. from the forum rules: DO NOT Use short abbreviations like in AIM chat or anything. Please use full sentences like you are chatting in a formal email. l hope you don't write your formal emails like that. it was so jumbled i didnt even try to read. my first concert was WEIRD AL YANKOVIC and i listened to nickleback before they were famous... now every song sounds the same..
  10. my buddy drove his right after and used the piss out of the brakes to heat them up and bake it on. seemed to work fine. he used the spray blue tho. BTW your front driver tire looks low
  11. just talked to him. he's looking good. and he's a LUCKY one! sounds like he didnt actually hurt anything! sam, i totally remember that. wasnt it like a four cyl mustang or something?
  12. He has decided to respond. altho i seriously doubt he's going to send my parts, he replied there as well as on my forum REDPEPPERRACING.com
  13. you guys in cali? how far away from san fransisco? i could use some help tracking down a fat retarded chinese asshole....
  14. remember, its THIN EVEN COAT are you using a gasket at all? or just RTV? if not, id recommend getting a gasket, rubber if available. if not, id just make one from thin cereal box cardboard, with a thin even coat of RTV on either side of it. sounds crazy, but it works great. ive had this on my water neck of my sunbird for a hot minute with absolutely NO leakage.
  15. might be decent car with all the crap removed lol
  16. hey, if it threw the water OUT and turned over and didnt sound like HELL then you are definately in the right direction! you probably wont get any more water out with the shop vac, but i would spray decent amounts of starting fluid in each spark plug hole and let sit to help evaporate any leftover water. then (PLUGS OUT) turn the engine over again with the starter, pushing any starter fluid not evaporated. then install your plugs, and attempt to start WITH THE NEW OIL. if it runs and doesnt sound like grinding or like a stroker or missing on a cyl, then let it run to warm up temp, then cut it off and check the oil. if there is still noticable water in the oil, id let it cool, run to warm up once more, then drain WHILE STILL HOT. if there isnt noticeable water in the oil, i would drive for about 10 miles and check again. if noticeable, change it again. if not, go for about 50 and check again. if noticeable, change again. if not, take it to 100. see where im going with this? i would repeat that process, but DEFINITELY change again at 500 miles, no question. and dont bother to change the oil more than 3-5 times unless its STILL VERY NOTICEABLE, which it really shouldnt be by that time. if you do that, you shouldn't have any oil-water issues. good luck, and i hope your engine is all good! crossin my fingers!! PM me if you'd like my number, i dont mind giving over the phone advice.
  17. dont knock it till you've drived it. 300 hp v6 and rwd? sounds like fun to me. yeah i normally wouldnt touch hyundai with a stick, but i have heard from just about every source that hyundai stepped up its game with the genesis sedan and genesis coupe. just like my old cavi-copy sucks, but GM stepped up its game and has cars like the g6. oh and do you think Rhys Millen would be so happy with his genesis coupe drift car if it was crappy? im sorry but im gonna listen to his opinion before i listen to someone who hasnt even tried one of these cars out.
  18. if its fake, i want to see the part where he gets up and goes "gotcha!!" otherwise, it looks pretty damn real. even with a rubber end, an arrow to the face would hurt pretty good.... edit: nevermind its fake. watch the judge with the drink in front of him. first hes just got the drink there, but when the guy goes to grab his can, he's holding a piece of paper. staged!
  19. since passing the digital communications act, fines for that are absolutely mind boggling. you could buy a brand new car with how much they can charge you. you think its just stealing TV, but since its now a form of digital communication (phone, internet) it carries much heavier fines! i used to be a cable dog AkA ladder jockey. i have all the tools to steal cable if i wanted to no you dont. he has a dual output box. his sat already has 2 LNB's. he simply wants to split the image/sound going to his second TV to a 3rd. he will have to watch the same thing on both TVs. its the same as having a single box, and having all your tv's in the house hooked to it. everyone will have to watch whatever the remote control king is watching
  20. ok, my setup is TV1 is at the box, connected via HDMI. i have TV2 hooked up via a crazy thing that actually goes back up the sat feed line and splits back off to go to my trailer, but thats besides the point im guessing your second TV is hooked up via a cable off the back of your box. simply add a two way splitter to that line, with one going to your TV2 and the other going to TV3. your 2nd remote that works via radio signal should work in both rooms as long as they are not too far away.
  21. i actually really like it, MINUS the badge
  22. lol its ok noob questions only lead to someone learning alot! to turn your engine by hand, you must gain access to your crank pulley. usually there is a plug in the plastic shroud on the inside of your wheel well. you may need to remove the wheel, but you might be able to simply turn it to lock. once you remove the plug, you can use an extension and socket to turn the crank pulley. turn it to the right so you dont accidently loosen your crank pulley bolt. more than likely you wont, but its possible especially if your engine is locked! if it doesn't turn, you most likely have catastrophic engine failure. as for the DTC code, try leaving the battery unplugged for 30 seconds. i'm not knowlegable about these models specifically, but there may be some sort of sensor to keep you from starting it, as to not further damage anything. of course make sure there is no water left in your engine or your electricals!!
  23. haha yeah this was on Jalopnik. it make it to my regular forum fast being that its the gen civic and CRX we cover. i concluded that he got the steering wheel cover first, and then just built the car around that. despite all the TERRIBLE modifications done to that car, they really are fun to drive. they weigh 1800 pounds soaking wet and are pretty much glorified go karts. i have owned three, altho never for very long. clogged cat killed #1, #2 was a project, and #3 was an ex grassroots motorsports challenge car, bought for parts for #2. they were stripped rolling chassis, in the middle of the motor swap faze, when someone broke in and rolled them into each other, and windows smashed. they effectively destroyed EVERY good part of each car, and managed NOT to touch any of the bits that i planned on replacing. later the guy got caught, with my tenacity helping. i planned on staking out the scene (because he kept coming back) with a paintball gun. the guy at the paintball store ending up being a SLED officer (south carolina 5-0) that KNEW who it was from his nickname he wrote in the dust in the windows. that helped them find him since they didnt even know he was in that area, and moving the search for him to that area led to his capture that guy got a 29 year sentence w/o parole, for many violations including possession and sale of a firearm. he was 19. they said he cried like a baby. i never got anything out of it, except for the satisfaction of justice. it wasn't enough, but it was something figured you guys might like that story.
  24. posted in your progression thread. dont try to start it anymore BTW. crank it over by hand.
