  1. She has them up now. Car show
  2. Wife picked the color, thanks. Yes, it is a 6 spd auto as Moonpie stated. One thing about the A6 on the GXP is that it has 3 shift modes; as follows, 1. STANDARD- normal shifting 2. PRO SHIFT- Computer adjusts gear ratios higher than normal for longer shift durations; ie, shifts at 60/65 instead of 55 providing faster HP and torque. 3. SPORT SHIFT-manual shifting no clutch will Red-line in this mode if you don't manually shift. Note: not to imply anyone may not be technically minded or to be rude but I put this in laymans terms so I wouldn't get alot of questions or those correcting my terminology. I am mechanically minded but haven't been motorhead for a few years. I don't work on my own cars anymore except for minor stuff; I have people for that.
  3. Thanks, I love it. Wish I coulda kept both. Thanks
  4. My 2006 GTO 2009 G8 GXP, 6.2L, A6, Sunroof, Sport Metallic Red - No Mods yet. Dirty engine compartment, just had snow a few days ago. I only just ran car through the carwash yesterday.
  5. Not exactly new but my first post. Registered in November but website wouldn't accept login until I redid everything: fixed now. I'm in Fayetteville, North Carolina and just retired from the Air Force @ Pope AFB. My last Pontiac was a Cycone Gray 2006 GTO. I traded it in July 09 for the G8 GXP. I loved my GTO but love the GXP much more; wish I coulda kept both because my daughter wanted it. SHe is registered as jmm88 by the way, she finally got her own black 2006 GTO. My GXP is a Sport Metallic Red, A6 with sunroof. As I'm sure many of you Pontiac enthusiasts already know, only 1829 GXP's were produced so I'm thrilled to have it. Glad to be here and impressed by the number of Pontiac enthusiasts registered here. GM will one day regret it's decision to drop Pontiac and keep Buick. Christ! I can count on one hand how many impressionable, sought-after Buicks there have ever been; don't have that many fingers and toes for Pontiacs. Note: Haven't figured out how to post pictures yet; advice would be welcomed.
