  1. Nice car's, there all real nice, I'm old school mostly do to my age, so the 60's are and always have been my favorites. I could put my car in its a project right now and I'm still not completely sure how far I am going with it, thanks to all of you out there who sent your pics in and all those who put this whole Pontiac forum together.
  2. Cool Zamboni I use to drive one at St Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake for there Hockey teams and figure skaters.
  3. It was in Hazel Park between 9 1/2 MILE which is Woodward Heights and 10 mile and John R. that's where I was born and raised, I lived in Hazel Park for 40 years graduated from Hazel Park High in 73 could have graduated in 72 but I changed my vocational auto mechanics school, long story, my time the last 4 years in High school I spent in auto mechanics and welding and worked out of my dad's garage I had at the time my own welding equipment torches tools ect, and through a series of events lost it all except my roll away which was emptied from being ripped off, I worked on friends muscle cars, and my own, family, and relatives cars, and neighbors cars until I moved out on my own and unfortunately since then to this day don't have a garage which makes working on my Pontiac difficult.
  4. Its a 1965 Dodge town wagon my dad bought it brand new in 65 he worked for Chrysler 9 mile stamping, we traveled out west in it all 7 of us for 3 weeks every summer, then when I was 17 which is how old I was in the picture my dad gave it to me, so I did a few minor things to it like took the back seats out turned the air cleaner lid upside down, tuned it up a bit, put some good gas in it and raced it at Motor City Dragway in stock class I won the trophy in the picture and one other one the same year, that paint on the truck my Uncle put on for us it was Plum crazy Purple, then when I wasn't racing it I put the seats in it picked up a bunch of friends and went out cruising around it was a blast.
  5. I love cars drag racing, muscle, Rat Rods, nostalgia is my favorite I built a 1955 Chevy Gasser back in the 70's from a total, tube front frame straight axle front end roll bar narrowed Dana 60 small block tunnel ram, and I had a 62 Falcon 289 9" ford rear end radiused fender wells 7" slicks my last year in high school and after a 1950 2 door HT Cadillac nice original, a good friend of mine when he got home from Vietnam bought a new 70 GTO 400 4 speed red with black interior 390 posi and shortly after buying it put a cam in it and a 433 gear, I have wanted one every since but today just can't afford it most of my friends have had and some still do have some awesome cars, but do to some problems and set backs over the years, and we all have them, haven't been able to get back on the road with anything, I have had quite a few other cars but don't need to go into that, another best friend had a 64 GTO 389 4 speed red with black interior real nice, this is my 55 before I put it on the street at Detroit Dragway and after when I made it a street car which wasn't very streetable it had a 557 gear in it when I first built it I put a 18 spline Hemi 4 speed in it then switched to a 400 turbo and a 5500 stall converter and the other is my Falcon and Caddy and 1965 Dodge Townwagon these picture were already in y computer so when I can upload my Pontiac I will there were a lot of Pontiac's in my family and friends but they were at the time out of my price range this is the first Pontiac I've owned.
  6. I am currently working on a 1972 Pontiac Ventura and I need a hood, metal which I can't find, or fiberglass, I'm using it as a street driver/ bracket car.It has a BBC 468, 8.1 to 9.1 somewhere 781 heads extreme energy Comp Cam HFT cam, Holley Street Dominator intake, it was a street race car from the late 70's it has a Dana 60, 6 lug 410 posi, multi leaf, slapper bars, frame tied, gutted interior and gutted under hood, aluminum American racing wheels all around, My closest and best friend was building it and had a stroke and can't finish it so his daughter gave it to me and I want to finish it and if he comes out of it after or during me finishing it I'll be more than thrilled to finish it and give it back at no cost for sure.
