  3. While waiting for epoxy to set on the bonnies steering wheel,  i had a fix to do on the 59, she had a fatigue crack where the horns mount on the radiator support panel ! the bloody thing has a lumpy cam and at idle the whole front end shakes like shit and the twin horns must weigh 10kgs :o and the mount is poorly designed.

So i added a new bracket to spread the load and mig the crack in the rad panel, black paint and job done.

I have another issue with this girl, she is eating water and fouling plugs, i think i have a leak in the intake manifold getting into the intake runners on 3 cylinders,,, not much but i am losing water, no burbling in radiator , no water in the oil.

am just going head over to Rock auto and grabs some new intake gaskets and pull her down when they arrive... but OH look at the Time🙄... ITS BEER O'CLOCK

Promised the boss i would do eye fillet on the bbq ... something about happy wife happy....something.... i forget !!! HAHA

  4. This is my mk1 that i have just finished.

basically i have copied what the rally boys in the uk are doing these days

i have used a 2 litre duratec east west engine with custom sump, bell housing to a type 9 5 speed box, back to a borg warner lsd 4.11 diff

induction is jenvey itb with a megasquirt ecu that i built.

all the front suspension is mk2 escort rack and pinion custom struts with capri vented discs and wilwood calipers

interior is custom  with stock gauge housing using all Dakota digital gauges and control system.

paint needs a touch up, and its ready to be dyno tuned, am expecting to be between 150 and 170 bhp @ the rear wheels 😊👍

  5. i built a 350 with 60 over pistons, stock crank, balanced and blue printed stock heads with light porting, z28 cam

stock turbo 350 with shift kit and eaton positration 10 bolt diff

late model seat with stock trim

    just a nice driver

fully rebuilt suspension, and upgraded stereing box to make her handle better 😄

  6. This was my gto monaro, built by Holden factory ls2 and i modified it to 342kw at the rear wheels, did cold air intake, reprogrammed and dyno tune, de filippo exhaust system, 25% reduction pulleys, new heads , cam and valve springs.
it was a super fun ride, and only ever got 1 ticket !!
traded it on my first challenger
