will be a bit. We still have 2 feet of snow in places.

Only a few minor things left to do. Not charging enough so need to check the regulator as I have already checked the generator, have a new radio to install and that's it. It's insured and tagged.

quick update. Took some photos sitting in the carport waiting for the snow to thaw for first test drive.

The top bearing in my 55 steering column is shot. I can't find anyone that lists it. Anyone know where to get one? Thanks

You'd need a heck of a large pan to fry one of these whole. lol

Herring is the preferred bait. If halibut didn't taste so good no one would fish for them. It's like hooking your line to a 50lb rock and cranking it up from 75 to 300 feet. The big ones do tend to erupt when they arrive at the boat.

Thanks everyone.

I put it in the gears last night. Moved in all. The new master cylinder is leaking out the brake rod end. Might have to send it back for another one.

Thank you.

Got the wiring bugs out, tightened all the fuel line connections and bam she started right up. 1955 pontiac wagon part 48.mp4

Both turn indicator lights have single wire sockets in them. I have a new 3 prong flasher and can't figure out how the "P" terminal wired as in the diagram will light the appropriate bulb and not both at the same time. Why have 2 bulbs if the both light at once? I'm guessing that I also have the wrong sockets in there. Should they be a two wire?

Nothing about the steering wheel horn ring and button.

Anyone know of a diagram on how the horn assembly goes together on a 55? Searching turns up nothing but Chevys and they aren't the same. Thanks.

next big task it to check the wiring and fire it up.

I've been messing with getting the brake lines run, new MC and bleeding them. Front caliper banjo bolts would not seal. Went through 3 sets of copper crush washers before I bought new bolts which finally did the trick. Installed the two rear door panels.

Yes we got lucky in our upholsterer choice. We got one that did what they said they would do, when they said and better than I expected.

Yeah it's her car but first drive will be mine. lol
