  1. I'm sure they're fine. I already had the Konis in a retrofit with Eibachs so it was a no brainer. I ran 400# springs for a few weeks and felt they were to soft for my liking.
  2. There are a few sets out there but they use AGX struts which aren't the best thing outside of a normal drop. The fronts were revalved to match my springs. I'll get the rears done one day in the same way. I'm running 500# front and 400# rear
  3. Koni struts and Eibach springs all the way around. Custom front mounts, the rears are stock with a spring hat. I'm still working out getting bumpstops mounted. Everything I've done hasn't worked out to well so far.
  4. I forgot all about this thread till today. I've done some more work to the car, mainly it's that I built coilovers for the car and retrofitted a air splitter for the GTOs to my car.
  5. As it sits once more, I have put on red LED tails but no pics with those
  6. Wheel bearing, fender, and went ahead and replaced the brake rotor as well. Wheel/tire are fine.
  7. Pretty much, I just put new lugs on and they were tight. I never felt anything weird in the steering. Got it mounted also
  8. I guess I never posted it here but my front passenger wheel decided to separate itself from the car, all the lugs stripped at the same time. Thankfully I was making a slow turn so nobody got hurt. The fender was pretty messed up so I got a new one and had a friend pretty of up for something different for now. Also had to replace the bearing and rotor on the car, otherwise the car is fine. A few coats of clear and it'll be thrown on.
  9. Soooo I just bought one of these Corbeau GTSII in black suede. Would've gone black/grey leather but that's way to much for me. Driver side only for now since the passenger seat is in great shape but the driver is destroyed.
  10. No shots yet, those will come once I get spacers, lugs, and get extended bolts. I'm also going to order a new seat, red LED tails, and go a little lower when I rebuild the struts. Then I think I'll be done with the car for the most part. Actually I bought light blue then found Pontiac blue, but grabbed light blue by accident and i didn't know till after i painted everything. It stayed that way lol.
  11. The wheels are done. For now...
  12. ****ty cell phone pic but you get the idea, GPOs painted and mounted Threw on the old new wheels after getting new tires. I can't decide if I'm going to go silver or back to black. These went on unfinished since my old tires were pretty much slick and I wasn't going to wait till I hydroplaned before swapping these. Still going with the can centercaps and I need to figure out what spacer to get for the rear to get them the same offset as the front. Rear offset, I know I'm going to need something like a 1/2", its 7.5 wide +37 Front offset, just where I want it, its 9" wide +40 with a 7/16" spacer which is ~11mm, puts the wheel at +29. Oh yea
  13. New project for the car, the black wheels I used to have on. Since the car is paid off i get to have fun with my money for once so I got a new tire. Anyways the wheels are being stripped to be refinished black again. Red lugs and new center caps I'm stealing. Also picked up some ZZP strut tower braces and I have a bad injector now so waiting on new injectors to come in to go on this super cool modified rail to show the blower off.
  14. Has a little bit of JDM flare now, my fogs are now yellow
  15. Oh yea, I got the motor dropped in over the New Years weekend and running beautifully. I'm in the process of tunimg it now, boy did I miss boost. The complete mod list is: L26 bottom end L32 heads 1.84 Yellow Terra rockers ported GenIII blower Plog/3" DP wrapped 180* thermo
  16. I guess this thread is due for an update. I picked up an L26 about a month ago with 25K on it Then I painted it Pontiac Blue (the oil pan is painted blue as well, did that after I took this pic) I've ordered parts slowly but surely. So far I've got some 1.84 Yellow Terra rockers, I have some L32 heads in the mail, and I'll have a new fuel rail to show off the blower heading to me soon, then I'm hoping to snag some 105# spring with titanium retainers for cheap. I'm going to do some light work to the heads. Smooth out the intake, polish the chamber, and polish the exhaust side. I'll swap on the stock pulley back on with wrapped exhaust manifold/crossover/plog. If it hasn't been mentioned already the blower has a ported outlet. Of course It'll have a new tune on it. I'll set it up to rev a little higher to make it a little more fun. Down the road I'll add an MPS and underdrive pulleys to free up the revs some more. The theme for the paint is Pontiac blue with a silver topend. I might throw in some black somewhere. I was thinking of rolling with the hood off for a couple of days during Christmas since I'm planning on doing it just before then
  17. Cyl 1: Cyl 3 (right next to it): I knew #3 was fucked but I had no idea about #1. Still going to replace #3 and roll with #1, new motor in a month or so anyways. Been going like this for a year and a half till #3 chipped for a second time and my car was not happy at all.
  18. The car is about to flip over 150K, going to be saving up for an L32 swap. Between selling my 18s, bday money, and Christmas I should be able to do it in the foreseeable future. I haven't done the piston yet, was waiting on parts to come in and I need to go get a JY head since the front one is making some good ticking in the valvetrain. Anyways, here's how it looks with the stockers on it. I'm hoping to find some pregen 5 spokes up at the swap meet this Nov.
  19. This will have to do for a while. I want to do a full L32 swap when I get the money saved up. Living away from home in college isn't kind to the wallet. The suspension and tranny have already been overhauled so this is the last hurdle for the car really.
  20. Piston #3 chipped again so it looks like I'm going to have to take the motor down to the block, pop the oil pan off, and replace the piston/rod. I don't have anywhere near the funds to drop in another L67 right now since I already have everything for the piston. I'll be saving up for an L32 swap in the near future so this will have to do. I just hope that the cylinder wall isn't too messed up.
  21. I have no idea how I managed this one. It's already been replaced and control arms, wheel bearing, and tie od went on as well.
