  1. Installed Gabriel shocks when I began the rebuilding process about 15 years ago. I believe that I could refine the ride .What to upgrade from the current shocks. What would be a good replacement to enhance the ride quality . Want modern ride quality and handling but don't want to perform suspension upgrade at this time.
  2. Thanks for your thoughts on the issue. My car is floor shift 3 speed. I will loosen mounting points on switch and adjust it it forward and backward to see if I find the sweet spot . Should work with adjustment. Will follow up in a few days.
  3. My backup lights are not working on my 67 GTO coupe. I have a three speed trans. Checked simple things like light bulbs and they were operational and also the fuse. Checked the back up light switch and I believe it was defective based on my continuity test conducted on the trans and on my bench. Replaced switch and still no backup lights. When I replaced the switch I put in the same spot as the defective switch. Should I try adjusting it on the trans by rotating it or look in another area. I do not get 12 volts to the backup bulbs when the trans is in reverse. Did check back up bulbs by removing them and using battery. Also tested then installed to rule out a ground issue, all was good. Thoughts on the matter will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks, Frank
  4. I have a 67 GTO that I have restored. My dome light stays on even with the doors are closed. Replaced both door switches/plungers with no affect. The head light switch has no effect on turning them off. The only solution is removing the bulb. Any one have thoughts?
