  1. I just finished welding up a header for a friend of mines chevelle convertible. It was rusted out in similar locations. I cut out the bad and replaced it with same thickness of metal. His just happened to be 12 guage. You can fix this pretty easy if you have some fabrication and welding skills.
  2. We’ll, I’ve made a lot of changes. Still haven’t painted all the panels yet. It’s one of those perfectionist things that kills me all the time. All of the new stuff that I designed and made is out of carbon fiber. Front fenders, new sexy side skirts that may or may not have exhaust coming out the sides. New rear fenders, and doors. Rear sexy skirt, trunk and hood. The new nose is made of all aluminum and is held together by over 3000 solid rivets. It is supporting a totally new design which is more aero and style which mixes old skool and new skool into the design. The new wing is a composite of aluminum and carbon fiber. I even made a new radiator support out of carbon fiber in which I made more for strength along with adding more supports for various items under the hood and nose. There were new supports that I made for the front fenders that were needed since factory is nonexistent and were never designed for the fenders. I’ll get it all painted and installed and pics will follow afterwards.
  3. Kiwi - Thanks again Frosty - yup I laughed at the mask and now I laugh yet again and so did Sam lol !! Justa - yup we have fun everywhere with guys from FP gang
  4. Frosty you need to show pics of you in the mask
  5. Kiwi - I had a good time down under about 12 years ago. Meet up with a few mates in the aussy air force that I came friends with when they came over here to play a couple of times and ran into to them at various locations throughout the world. Needless to say when we got together we had a blast. Yeah very wild and fun times!!
  6. Whaaat !! People skerd to be in the car with me behind the wheel !!! I am shocked !! Now, I can understand the person being skerd to see me in the car behind them before I hit the wild pedal and blow there doors off.
  7. Thanks guys it was a blast and to have good friends there made it much better. Although Frosty was lil bit skerd of the stumpwater at first. Now, frosty it’s Norf Cakilakie. But you can spell it any way you want lol !! Yeah, she knew what she was getting into. Heck I taught her how to use weapons. Which might have been a bad idea !! And even to shoot bow and arrow. I even got her racing in the beast. She has fun with all my twisted hobbies. Best part she drinks stumpwater woo hop !!
  8. Well, been going over the car and replacing sensors that were starting to go bad, bushings, installing those rear control arms, and getting ready to blow the car apart and hopefully get everything installed and painted. Yeah, the car is getting lighter and the body panels I made and modified along with the new nose I made. Should look killer and mean. But, still retain the Superbird looks. Oh, and it'll be sporting a killer pic on the wing of one of Acme Corporations own beta tester.
  9. Alrighty, those pics were great!! Those cartoon characters covering the heads cracked me up. It was great spending time with frosty and Joe. Yes, and Joe's car is a beast !! And riding in frosty's car for the first time was fun and scary at the same time. Although, we did have a great meal and good fun bugging each other. Yes, I broke a lower control arm bushings and it took me 2 hours to replace with help from some of the guys between runs. Now the local Button Dodge dealership did a video shoot the next day. I'll post a link soon. If not you can see my inpromto, non scripted, they didn't tell me what they wanted so I just sort of stumbled my way thru it. You can check their website and see the video. I made a very smokey dealership and lots of noise. The salesmen we're in panic. All the mechanics stopped working on cars and we're in the parking lot watching lol !! And at Indy lost a Vband off the exhaust while going down the highway back to the hotel. But, the cool part was the speed shop that we were visiting that evening luckily had one and installed it for me. Which was really killer. Now, the map thingie. I do have a map that is the scratch off type that I use for the Road Trip autocross events. I also, have decals for all the road courses I've raced with a map. And one for land speed racing. And one for all the states the lil woman and I traveled. Now, on the critter kills. We'll, I guess I could put a state which each were killed. Alot would be in SC, and NC. Now, the Michigan raccoon !! He just stayed there no movement to get outta the way. I think that it was from the inbreeding there !! Lol !! Ringo, yes I probably need to get one for the kills. Lmao!! Over all, it totally wears you out each day and makes for a long week. Especially driving home. But, the best part is. Great fun, great friends, great blast, and just plan fun !!
  10. Well, I have taken time away from the house and concentrating on the beast. I ordered new tires just hope that they get here in time.😰 Been going over the car tweaking thangs. Just gotta do some shake down runs and may even do an autocross this weekend to shake thangs down more.
  11. Yeah, I likey. Everything works great and the seat is comfy.
  12. Looky what I picked up for $100 bucks tonight.😬😬
  13. Heck I don't even have emergency brakes in the car
  14. Okay, well the not so recent news. Yes, I killed yet another deer with the car. Very little damage thank god. But, on an interesting note. I did run over a coyote Also, with no damage except for loosening up the exhaust creating a leak. Other than that not too much happening except for renovating a house which is killing my car show time and working on my car time. But, it's a wonderful day in the neighborhood
