  1. All the bushing and pump are still working well. I haven't disassembled the top but it looks as though the previous owner has removed it for whatever reason and just put it back wrong but I can't figure out what needs to be done. The front passenger side sits a tad higher but it's been that way since I got the car. The misalignment doesn't affect the tops functionality but I don't like the idea of keeping it like this. The front of the rail is also low but not as much. It doesn't seems out of shape dispite the looks so my only guess is an adjustment but nothing in the fisher book is working for this. I have some more images including the passenger side which shows how it should be (Don't know why some images are sideways though)
  2. Hi guys, I've taken the top of a 68 firebird and found the frame is a bit out of whack. I've tried a few adjustments but nothing seems to help. Has anyone had this issue before? Do I need to try an adjustment I don't know about or has this piece bent out if shape over time?
  3. Left hand drive cars are ok when they're over 30 yrs old. Majority of 60-70s american cars are left hand drive still here. Speedo is still mph but mine isn't accurate so 50 mph on the speedo is 100kmh. Very easy to convert while driving.
  4. Thanks mate, Always good car shows but summer is over here so they start drying up now. Here's a few resent show favs of mine
  5. Here's a few pics. Currently changing to a black top.
  6. Hi all, New to the site so still getting my way around everything. A bit of a background on myself. Honestly can't say I've always been a pontiac guy, unfortunately they are few and far between in aus so growing up I never got to know them much. When I decided to get a weekend cruiser I went to a garage to hopefully buy a 69 charger. Luckily for me it was sold that morning and I went for a browse. Thats when I noticed a beauty in the corner of the shop. That was the first time I'd seen a 68 firebird in the flesh and I had to have it, loved pontiac's ever since. I look forward to getting to know everyone and seeing everyone's rides.
