  1. Hello everyone, Would like some help if possible. Just purchased a Pursuit for my daughter. The Steering and Ignition recalls have been repaired, However, the shift mechanism/key locking problem is not yet fixed - and of course this car has that problem. I've pulled the shifting mechism off - with just one little catch of getting the shifting cable of the damn thing. Am assuming I can just pry it off - but am concerned about breaking it. Does anyone have a service manual procedure on this? In any case the pin has fallen out, so I need to bring the thing up on the bench and work on getting it back in so it will close the switch properly. Any advice is definitely aprociated. Thanks in advance.
