I have a 78 Catalina and was wondering could any other GM rear end fit it, like a caprice or ect. Or even if i could use a 80's model Bonneville rear end or Caprice.

Had a minor wreck that bent my frame a little from the front. Since then my radiator wont hold any fluid but doesnt leak on the ground. Take my oil cap off and there is plenty of steam flowing out. Also comes out from where the oil stick is. The engine is also a little louder since the wreck. Its a 78 Pontiac Catalina with a 400 engine.

I have a 78 pontiac catalina with a 400. Just wrecked it so my frame is bent a little and my driver side front fender is dented and bent. Kinda hard to find these fenders i know the Bonneville can use the same parts at least i think, but i only come across the 80s model. Wondering if there are any more interchangeable gm cars that will fit my catalina. Also wanna know what years of the catalina that i can switch parts with reagarding the fender and glove compartment or just whole dash
