  1. It's the subtle things like that, that make it or break it for me. I would rather paint a ring rather than dealing that label. IMO Just wanted to show you some other options.
  2. I would have started peeling stickers off the car.
  3. If that's what you want, I would look into depo digital gauges. They are pretty much the same price. But don't have the ugly "glowshift" on them and the colors can still be changed. They are pretty much the same as Prosport gauges. They cost a bit more than glowshift, but look 10000 times better in my opinion. I'll be putting autometer in the TA and these depo gauges in the honda. You should look into them, you can always paint the silver lip like I plan to. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhBi-QmG-xU
  4. Looking good kid. Good call on the gauges. which style gauge did you choose?
  5. indeed you could. There are two other really rare colors. One is a dark green and the other is a midnight blue/purple. I found one of the Midnight blue cars, but it was a convertible non ram air.
  6. also put my lid in. Makes a difference in low end torque for sure.
  7. Good luck finding one lol. They are a rare breed of bird.
  8. My buddy and I finally got an opportunity to get our cars together. Decided to clean them up and go for a cruise. Don't mind the shitty iphone pictures, I'm no photographer.
  9. Yup bought the lid. 10-12 hp just by bolting it on. Good use for $50. Installed the 5.0 this morning. Best money I've spent on modifying a car to date.
  10. The work done to this has been top notch thus far, and I feel like those headers take away from that. That is my only concern with what you have done.
  11. Got her back this afternoon and she is running awesome. He actually replaced the PVC system on the car to clean up under hood and added these filter. Idles better since the hoses were rotten and leaking. More fun coming this summer!
  12. I've seen some interesting terminal ties, but dayum.
  13. Talked to brad again. He said that my exhaust gasket just cumbled when heed took the header off, so that's most likely the cause of the exhaust leak. Unfortunately he did say that the car probably over heated at some point. The water pump is newish and the gasket is old and the pump was installed incorrectly. So that's pretty terrifying but that's probably why the freeze plug is leaking. He is going to work this week to seeing if we can just replace the plug, but we are going to find and use a different head to be safe. But on a good note. He said all of the internals look good and there shouldn't be any damage to the car. He hopes to have it mostly wrapped up this weekend if he can locate a new head.
  14. Well brad got to work yesterday and found the problem. Turns out, it was the freeze plug, not the gasket. The leak would simply run down the crease and look like a gasket.
  15. That's the plan, I want them dark, but not black. I may just plasti-dip what ever wheels I get to that color so if I grow tired of it, I can just remove it.
  16. I like the polished wheels on black, but I think the gun metal gray looks amazing in this case.
  17. They are replicas. I would prefer replicas since they sit very well with no need for a spacer, and tires would be just a little cheaper lol.
  18. That car is lowered. It makes me want to lower my car. But I won't lie, every time I see the car, it makes me smile just the way she is. And she already scrapes enough when I'm careful in this town. I'm thinking about storing the car in my parents garage this coming winter. If I do, she won't make it into my driveway lol. When it comes to wheels/lowering/heads/cam/etc.....If I find a good price and funds are there, I might pull the trigger on something big. I still want to get her 100% functional and all the little things (like seat belt guide) are important to me the most.
  19. Yeah she was/is quite dirty. And you are correct. They are Z06 wheels. I think these look just amazing.
  20. I will take the mothers powerball to these after the gasket is fixed. I don't like the way these look what so ever.
