  1. These are...interesting....looking cars in my eyes. RWD and turbo is a fantastic combo with a manual transmission. Why go with an auto though?
  2. They don't make a 3rd brake light. There are maybe 20 clear/smoked led 3rd brake lights and they are a lot of money if you find one used. So I'm going to tint it so it blends into the wing.
  3. Finally had some free time. You can see, one of the housings was in rough shape. Painted I'll finish them up tomorrow.
  4. Hopefully I can get my car to some better shots for october. It is my favorite month so I need to win haha.
  5. It'll happen. I need a camera person, or just a gopro to record it. But it'll happen after the break in process for the gears is complete. Don't want to destroy the 10 bolt already lol.
  6. Well....about the horse mask...... It has sustained some damage....
  7. Line lock would be easy. I only have to do burn outs to please you lol
  8. Now for the rear brakes to stop squeaking.
  9. Please excuse how dirty the car is. It's covered in dust and hand prints from the gear swap. But it's a nice day out and wanted to drive her after I got off of location for the day. Even made a new list of things to do in the coming weeks. Sorry for the crappy pics.
  10. The first time i do them, I'll probably grenade the rear end. lol
  11. Oh you have no idea how badly I want to just tear down the street, but I'll rip the guts off of my diff lol. Once they are cycled for a while, I'll be able to spin the tires quite easily!
  12. Appreciate it man. I'll try to get her out of the garage and get some pictures taken this week. Have to go easy on her for about 500 miles and cycle the new gears and bearings before I can have fun.
  13. Ready for the street. Lets hope all the repairs are done correctly and she holds up. 4.10 Gears are installed and backlashed well. Can't wait to try them out. Replacement clear tails will be delivered tuesday. Having a buddy send a set of crappy tail lights so I can take those apart and not my current tails. Finally, going to try and start the paint correction soon. Might take a day or two of vacation so I can knock it out.
  14. They are just placed over stock, so they don't look right. But just a preview.
  15. I bought them when they were a pre order. So it was $300 for the lenses. But then they ran into massive trouble with the honeycomb and they had to get a specialist to do the vinyl, and that cost an extra 100. So I'm in them $400. If you want to buy them now, They are $550 with the honeycomb installed by them. Or $450 and you put the vinyl on, and I heard it's worth the extra to have the expert do it.
  16. Your paint is looking like mine. I'm about to do a correction on my paint to give it that factory shine again and get rid of those swirls. Thinking it might be a good idea for you to look into it as well.
  17. Some people are running them just fine, other are needing resistence for using a bulb that requires less power, which makes perfect sense. But I figured there would be some sort of heads up posted some where on line, but no matter. I've set the lenses outside and let the heat get to them. The bubbling has gotten worse. On further investigation, there is adhesive and scratches on the outside of the lenses that I can't get off. I am the only one having issues with the condition of the lenses. If i had to guess, these lenses were the first ones that the did so their technique hadn't been perfected yet. I contacted Mark and I just want them swapped out for a better set. With these being so unique, I would like them to be at their very best.
  18. Bought a few items to work on the car in the coming weeks.
  19. How the hell do you keep destroying these transmissions...
  20. Ew...Please do not do that. Just black housing lights.
  21. You need new headlights. Those are all fogged up.
