  2. Justaguessing, but did this guy work in the aircraft industry? That is very cool. The Pontiac is da bomb too. Thankz for sharing. Also a great shot of the facia on the Pontiac that is a hot topic.
  3. A year ago this meant something.....Not so much now.

  6. He lives in my computer. Doesn't come from a drop down list. That's a bad neighborhood.
  7. Nice find! Like the Pontiac's on the bottom of the page too. TA's pullin 75,000. WOW
  8. Great shots! Beautiful ride. Thankz for sharing. Welcome to the site.
  9. Best time of the year for picture shoot N build a large portfolio of your cars. Sooo many beautiful/colorful backgrounds for your cars. This is where calendar shots are born!
  10. Fantastic job. It can be a major head exploding experience. Now, I want you to think about the guy working on the line, building this car. He has the length of the car and 45 seconds to complete his parts install, have it perfect AND be back to the start line to do the next car. Without making a mistake or getting in THE HOLE as we used to call it, committing the ultimate sin of shutting down the line. That's the kind of pressure we were under 8-10 hrs a day. Gap a lil off??? Is it a wonder why tolerances were a LIL forgiving back then? The pressure didn't let up even when we had much better equipment to work with. 2-3 line stops in a week could get your a$$ thrown out without pay. 3 of them N your career with gm is over. UAW would step in and you would normally get another shot at it. All that for simply dropping one of the 2 bolts in your hand to put the hood on. When it all comes together, it's a thing of beauty, watching a car roll off the end of the line every 45 seconds. You become fiercely proud of your work and your co workers for mastering impossible task to build the BEST product out there. Then you take shit for parts suppliers that mess up. Back in the day....we built everthing right down to the wiring harness. Old Pontiac's NEVER die...they become LEGENDS. Keep em ALIVE, boys N girls!
  11. Like it or not your part of the family now. There are no dumb questions. Keep us up with whats going on and chat it up in the forum.
  12. So who's the new member, and who needs more help???
  13. Beautiful Pontiac, thankz for the pic. Hope ya figure it out. Sounds like you've covered most of the bases already.
  14. What is the normal operating temp when fully hot? Until I got my operating temp down to 160, 170 in 90 degree outdoor temps. Had the same "gas station" starting problems you are. With the factory shroud, I'm assuming your still using a fan. Stock clutch or flex fan?
  15. Not quite that simple and no matter what $$$. 62 will probably be Glide trans and the starter is mounted to the trans. Not a bad option to rebuild the motor. Crate motor will include a price with a whole new trans. See where your starter is mounted, should be on driver side.
  16. Only LAUGHING cause I found myself drooling on the key board.!! Great find. Welcome to the site. Chat it up with us in the forum.
