  2. New C7 Options for 2016 Corvette Unveiled at NCM Birthday Bash When the redesigned seventh generation Corvette was introduced on 1.13.2013 its boldness startled the motoring press and Corvette enthusiasts alike. Suddenly buyers flocked to the showroom and bought 37,288 versions of the new Stingray. The demand has not slowed for 2015. With the addition of the 650 hp Z06, the total production for the 2015 Corvette will probably exceed the 2014 total. For 2016 the Corvette group decided to add more option packages for customers to choose from when they order their new car. www.super.chevy.com
  3. Rocket 88 The late '50s were a time when the Big Three turned out some of their most brilliant designs, especially when it came to their fullsize line offerings. Oldsmobile for one encompassed some of its finest styling points in 1957 while also promoting cutting-edge innovations like Rocket T-400 V-8 power, wide-stance chassis, span-a-ramic windshield, and sweeping hooded headlights. For Fred Morrison, growing up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was able to see all the latest designs cruising his streets fresh from dealership showrooms. www.hot.rod.com
  4. Yella Vette's Rule... BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Chevrolet today introduced the 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition – a road-going, track-capable homage to the Corvette Racing C7.R racecars. It’s offered in Corvette Racing’s signature yellow livery – or black – with coordinated exterior and interior accents. www.media.gm.com
  5. Great '68... Heres one thing well never get enough of: a light car fizzing with a fat Rat and a stick-shift transmission behind it. Theres nothing headier than dropping the clutch on a combo like that. Any way you look, its not going to be business as usual. You might bury the tires. Maybe youd wind up sideways. Its the essence of the old days and something that opens a geezers heart, like the memory of his first serious girlfriend. www.s.c.com
  6. One bad '68.., Chris Perna grew up with a very vivid imagination and a talent for drawing. Perhaps because he also loved horror films, especially the old black-and-white classics, his imagination pushed his art down a dark, sinister path that led to him creating all sorts of creatures and evil-looking monsters. Growing up in the Ed "Big Daddy" Roth era, monster cars also found their way into Chris' psyche and, to him, the basis for the ultimate monster car had to be a 1968 Hemi Charger. www.h.r.com
  7. What a beauty and beast... Corvette owners are a pretty loyal bunch. It isnt uncommon for those that have purchased one to upgrade once a new model is introduced. That is what Pennsylvania resident Pat Lamberton has done over the years. A C4 was his first introduction into the Corvette fold. That eventually led to a C5, and then a C6. For Pat, each generation has been an improvement on all facets. While he appreciates the evolution in each series, the classic lines of the C2 have always captivated him, so in 2012, he decided some de-evolution in his garage was needed. www.super.chevy.com
  8. Kool with me, don't think the GM boys will let it go for nothing...
  9. Arrest me red rocket... DETROIT Talk about a big family: Chevrolet expects to deliver the 500,000th fifth-generation Camaro in the United States this month. www.media.gm.com
