  1. WOOOO!!!!! Finally there up lol well i like it....so far its a smooth ride so down debadge and calipers

I'm not going to do any mods I can't reverse or take to the next car or remove and sell when I turn it in. Right now, thinking stb (front & rear) and sway bars (front & rear), and perhaps a couple other susp. add-ons they have for them. I'd like to do coilovers but they're EX-PEN-SIIIIIIIIVE. HIDs (35W 6000k) are on order, got a couple LEDs on order for some interior stuff, and I'm thinking about doing LED switchbacks for the turn signals. And of course, the subwoofers will be going in at some point, I just need to get a new box (old box is too wide). Other than all that, we'll see as time goes on.

I really like these Forte Koups. Six speed or auto? The EXs seem so bland in comparison to the SX models.

And oh yeah, three GMs in the last pic. =P

Six speed auto :P ... I will agree with you, the EXs are a bit blander, but the only real difference is the motor and cosmetic stuff. For instance, the black portions of the front bumper are painted a glossy black on the SXs.

I'm leasing this one (first car in my name), and really wanted a Koup. It was what I could afford with my credit and price range. Give me 3 years, I'll have an SX fully loaded. But for now, the EX is pretty awesome

That gauge cluster looks pretty cool.

I'm going to say 4, just cause in the top left corner it looks like it may be a Blazer...

The gauge cluster is wicked awesome. What I find weird though is that there's no temp gauge. At all. Anywhere.

And yes! I managed to trick someone with the blurry pic! ... Just 3, the 4th you see is a Honda CUV. And then there's a Chrysler van back there as well.

  3. It was for sure Alex, as I think I'm the only one on FP that lives out in the area, and it wasn't me :( ... And Alex is closer to Short Pump than I am.

Also, welcome to FP, and nice G8! :(

EDIT: Just sent a text to Alex, he confirmed it was him.

  4. She's gone. Traded her in on Tuesday for a 2011 Kia Forte Koup (I expect there to be no fans of this on here... losers ). Kind of bittersweet, I'll miss the 6, but it was time. I wasn't happy with it anymore. Hopefully someone will get more enjoyment out of it then I've had the last few months.

  5. Chaos-I live in VA, and please believe the cops are TERRIBLE down here. They will try and get you for anything now the economys bad.

She speaks troof. VA cops suuuuuck.

It's good to hear we have another VA member. :D

  6. I'll have to hold off on that for a while, that's how I had it set up in the last G6, before I got the new Headunit in.

Sorry, I must've skipped the part where you said you already had a new headunit. If your headunit has separate subwoofer and bass controls, just turn down the bass and turn up the sub, and just hook up the amp directly into the headunit and f it. Otherwise, I'd go ahead and get the inline converter.

Give me the Monte's wheels. Kthxbai.

Mom's actually thinking about getting some new wheels, so if she decides to do that, I'll let you know :D

you say 10 hour session...i say, 7 pics??? :bacon: i saw the title and was like, "oh theres going to be some BA pics in here." oh boy was i wrong. i think someone needs to be :lock: up by the :mod: for false advertisement. :lol2: jk. they came out shiny.

lol, yeah... I was gonna take pics throughout, but said f it and only took pics at the end. Got so tired, I only took the few I did.

They came out nice man, good work..any upcoming mods for the 6?

Intake and exhaust soon, as funds permit.

I'm a mechanical CSA, so I do double duty. I'll write up workorders, then do the oil change/tires/rotation/battery/flat repairs myself usually. I get both comission on sales and labor. :lol2:

Yeah. We don't have you guys in our market yet. They put out a feeler for the idea and our shop damn near revolted at the idea. But, I'm a Tech 2. And. You guys should have a code reader. I'm serious, it's required if you guys offer the fuel system cleaning service. If you do and you don't have a code reader, tell your manager. If they says it's too much, talk to the DM. It's, like, a $20 reader.
