  2. Pontiac of the Month is here for June! To nominate your or another user's Pontiac, please read the rules below: Rules: You may nominate your own Pontiac or another member's Pontiac from Forever Pontiac. If you do nominate your own Pontiac, please be sure that you've added it to our Garage or your entry will not be accepted. In your nomination/entry you must include: Display Name of the user you're nominating (if not yourself) A picture of your Pontiac (only 1 photo) The year and model of your Pontiac Any other facts about your Pontiac you wish the voting public to know. Such as modifications, restorations, etc.. Only ONE entry per user. Please do not submit any one user’s vehicle more than once. This is a friendly and honest competition. You will be disqualified from POTM if you are found registering (or enlisting individuals to register) multiple times once we are in voting. (NOTE: that is multiple times for one individual. Inviting one user to vote one time is fine.) Nominations will run through May 23rd and voting will start on May 24th. To enter your Pontiac or nominate someone else's, you will reply to this topic (click the red "Reply to this topic" button above this post or scroll to the bottom and click into the "Reply to this topic" text area) If you submit your nomination outside this topic, it will not be counted. Please let us know if you have any questions!
  3. As much as I would like to see Pontiac come back, this right here is the reason why it won't happen and also why I don't want it to happen. GM is scaling everything back at this time, don't think any addition at this point really is going to happen. If by some miracle it did happen and Pontiac was brought to life, feel like it would be a shell of what it could be. The best possibility we could hope for is a Firebird badged Camaro.
  4. Unfortunately, I do not but one of our gurus will be around shortly to assist.
  5. Dang. Well, least you’re getting another. Hopefully it was just a defective part that you had. Be careful!
  6. Right? Kind of want to see this guy's other fixes
  7. This was just too good not to share. Figured I'd start a topic about crazy DIY mechanic fixes after seeing this too. It's not crazy if it works, right?
  8. Right? Crazy to think about.
  9. Well, I demand a self driving vehicle for some people on the road out there Just not sure if it’ll be better or not.
  10. Oh my! Hope he wore his brown pants there. Definitely good to hear nobody and nothing was hurt in the process! Probably has a few choice words...
  11. Wanted to create a new topic series about things around Forever Pontiac which you may not be aware or just tips in posting that can save you some time. I'll be adding to this topic every now and again, especially as trends show around the community so be sure to check back! Please feel free to ask any questions in here on how to do things or what's available in Forever Pontiac. Please also do not forget about our Suggestions, Feedback and Bug report forum to provide any of those items to us which we love to hear! These will be bullet points, as I feel that is easiest to read these non-organized items but if you guys have any better suggestions on breaking up these points, please feel free to speak up: Forever Pontiac started out in 2009 as only a forum based website. In the time we've been around, we've added many different applications to make more of a "community" than only being a forum software. We have: Of course, the Forums which is at our index or "homepage": https://foreverpontiac.com/ The Gallery application, it is a great way to share photos in the various categories we have setup plus comment, add reactions, etc...: https://foreverpontiac.com/gallery The Downloads application, we use this mainly as a repository for various Owner's Manuals and some Forever Pontiac materials (such as our club cards to pass out in person). If you have any Owner's Manuals or digital-based items that could be of use, please let us know and we can setup a category for you: https://foreverpontiac.com/files/ The Garage application, this is for you to showcase your Pontiac (and other cars) and view other's vehicles plus comment/discuss/etc... This automatically will allow you to enter our Pontiac This OR That competition plus it will show your vehicles in your profile and under your name in Forums. That is found at: https://foreverpontiac.com/garage/ Clubs part of our community is currently setup for all our local/region specific discussion but we are always looking to evolve this part of this website. Clubs allows you to set up sub-areas of our community that have their own Forums, Gallery, Downloads, Calendar and Classifieds area. It's pretty neat, feel free to create your own Club (we do review these before allowing them publicly ) and join others: https://foreverpontiac.com/clubs/ The Classifieds application is for our users to list items for sale and other users can directly purchase on the site or in-person (please read all applicable rules/disclaimers). It is free to list! Go to: https://foreverpontiac.com/classifieds/ Our Store application is where you can find genuine Forever Pontiac merchandise, such as our Calendars, shirts, etc... It is also where your can purchase our Forever Pontiac Enhanced Membership which is a subscription that gives you no ads, more upload space, more private messaging space, and more! Can find that at: https://foreverpontiac.com/store/ Calendar application, allows you to create events, have people RSVP to those events and more! Check it out at: https://foreverpontiac.com/calendar/ It is worth noting that our navigation at the top of every page is setup to provide navigation to these items in their relevant areas. You'll want to hover over each point in the navigation (at the top of every page) to reveal sub-items. If you're on a mobile device, you'll want to tap each item to see the sub-items; Discuss/Share This navigation item houses our Fourms and Gallery application plus Activity Feeds (these show you activity throughout FP, I'll touch more on these later), Leadboards (shows our top members through given periods based on different factors), and Guidelines. Local Discussion/Events Houses Clubs and the Calendar application as the sub-navigation Learn/Manuals Downloads application and some links to our Q/A and How-To forum here. Rest of our navigation are specific applications so not as particularly confusing That seems like a lot for the very first post in this topic so I will let you all digest and ask some questions Hope you read and enjoy!
