  3. Was wondering the same myself. Already reached top shelf application for the V6 Sunbird, BUT the cars that could benefit from an unusual power source is unending.
  4. No emergency brake for a while? Do you park in steeply inclined areas where an e-brake might be helpful? Rick
  5. The energency brake will have to wait... Does anybody else see a problem with this? 🤣
  6. Thanks- the same article was published in the GMC Times this month as well. I wonder what a blown 478 GMC V6 would look like in the Sunbird?

  8. Hey, forgot to tell you that was an outstanding read on the GMC engines article you posted in the last tracker.

  12. The wiring diagram should reveal what the colors / stripes were for the radio - find those and reuse. The fuse panel may also have an "IGN" source that is easily accessible. Rick
  13. Hello everyone, Here is a before and after of the engine bay on my 1963 Grand Prix with a 72 Buick 455 & TH400 Auto Hello everyone, I need to connect my new radio in the console to 12v source that only has power when the ignition is on... Any suggestion where I can connect to? Direct from the back of the ignition switch or there is something closer like in the glove box area / center console? Thanks!!!

  15. Totally agree with JUSTA. A lot of hard work. Now I hope you can't stop driving the wee out of it.
  16. So what paint did you use on the body? What is the official color name? Have you taken your ride to any track? Done any quarter mile or autocross with it? Just curious.
  17. theres a bunch of pics posted under the "how to topic"
  18. Well besides the exterior body and paint work, the dash was rotted along the bottom of the windshield and I found a company that makes the replacement metal, I cut and welded in patches along the bottom of the door and fender, I don't think it had a steering column in it when I got it, then let's see the entire floor pans were replaced, the trunk pans and braces as well as a new gas tank and sending unit, then the usual refresh under the hood, with new plugs, wires, ignition, carb, water-pump, alternator ect. then I found a nice set of Cragar SS wheels with some nice rubber on them and other than that, just alot of elbow grease !! Oh yea, I forgot I got her a new carpet and a nice clean replacement split bench seat !!
  19. Fantastic! Beyond the obvious body and paint work, what all did you do to the ol' girl?
  20. Wow….beautiful. Love the yellow. Can I pick everyone’s brain. What should I be asking for this car? Senior widow with awesome car to sell but no real idea of what to ask.
  21. Had to be hard to let that one go. Hope you can get lucky N find Lumpy. Whats the story on the sweet Bonne??
  22. Amazing amount of work. Not your 1st rodeo. Impressive
  23. Fantastic job. Thankz for sharing the Pic's.
  24. Hi Chris, there are 3 Star Chiefs in total listed on Carjam. Mine, a four door white and maroon Hardtop that I have seen up North, and one other not seen.
