  • Description My dad had this car since 1962. Took out the orginal motor and put in a large Oldsmobile 8 Cylender motor to drage race with it. It was a Torpedo inline 6 but when he put the 8 cylender in it he put the silver 8 streak emblems on the hood. After two years he Stored it in his garage and started restoring it. A friend of his did a really thin ....not so good paint job on it and my dad overhauled a 350 chevy motor and put it it. He had the interior recovered. When he passed 2 years ago I bought it from my siblings who wanted to sell it and took on finishing the restoring it myself. I couldnt afford rechroming and a new paint job so I worked the paint myself, done the wiring and redone the interrior which had become unsewn. Took me 1 year and 10 months but got it done in time for my daughters prom.
