- Description 1977 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. This is a tribute Firebird to the TV show The Rockford Files. It was use on the last on camera interviews of James Garner and Stephen J. Cannell. They talked about Garner picking the Firebird for the show as well as Garner being the best stunt driver in the business. It has a 305 V8 with and automatic transmission. It also has air conditioning, AM/FM stereo, power steering and brakes. The visors have been auto graphed by James Garner and some of the Cast and Crew.
