More than two decades later and now in its fourth generation, the Grand Cherokee remains true to its original blueprint, with unibody construction, seating for five, and a longitudinally mounted six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine (two V-8s and a turbo-diesel are optional) driving either the rear or all four wheels.
